オーストラリア旅行 6日目 デイドリーム島
ブローディーはむかしセイリングヨットを持っていたというので(さすがオーストラリア人だ)、カタマランを借りてみんなでセイリングをしようゼ！と意気込んで海に出たら、風が強くてセイリングをしちゃだめですって。ちぇ。すごいしたかった。帆の下をくぐってみたかったのに。
しょうがないので水球をしたり、プールの中にあるバーでお酒を飲んだり(プールバー?)、シュノーケリングをしたり。
水球、ウォーター・ポロっていうんですが、バレーボールが水を吸って重くやわらかくなったやつみたいなボールをつかってゴールに入れるスポーツ。その辺を歩いている人を、大人も子供もつかまえて遊びの試合をやるのですが、ほんとに楽しかったなぁ。ボールを追って泳ぎ回るのでものすごく体力を使います。来年、海岸でやろうっと。
夕食で大ハズシ。メニューはだいたい文字で料理名と説明が書かれているだけなので、知らない料理はどんなものか想像もつかないのですが(まぁ、知っていてもぜんぜん違う料理が出てくるのですが)、ふつうは勘がはたらいておいしい料理にありついているのですが…。「スモークド・サーモン・クレープ」。どんな料理だと思いますか? (ヒント：キンタマ)

【オーストラリア豆知識】
ほとんどの料理にChips(フライドポテト)がついてきます。パンとかはほとんどでてきません。ひとつの皿で完結していて、ステーキとチップス、魚のフライとチップス、チョコケーキとチップス(嘘…でもないらしい)、チップス、チップス、チップス。最初は日本でいうおかずだけなので、なんかへんな感じでしたがいまではチップスがないと物足りません。太れ！

バラマンディへ餌をやるヨウコ。俺もやったけど、とにかくでかいのでちょっとビビる。
朝はたっぷりビュッフェ。くだものもたくさん。ついつい食べ過ぎてしまいます。
そのビュッフェの中にあったハチの巣。このハチミツ！うまかったなぁ…。
これが「スモークド・サーモン・クレープ」。冷たいんだぜ？これ。最初に「アントレサイズとメインサイズが選べますが？」と聞かれメインと答えたのでふたタマになったようです。中はチーズをどうにかした感じのもの。片タマだけ食べてギブアップしました。
