春に弟が結婚したのですが弟の奥さんのお父さんが麦焼酎が好きなんだそうです。なんか贈ろうかなぁと思ったのですが麦はいいちこと神の子ぐらいしかしらんし、それは贈る酒ではない。
「懐石Bar 悠庵 (1)」
プロに聞きましょう。メールをしたところ野村さんがつかまり横浜駅のきた東口で待ち合わせ。うわぉ、ずいぶんと静かなところですね。
中央に囲炉裏があり練炭で火をおこしています。えーと、アジのたたきと、サワラを焼いてください。まずはビールをきゅーっと。
アジのたたきの作り方が丁寧。いやうまかった。アジと長ネギは別々に切ってふんわり混ぜ合わせてあります。どっさっりのあさつきとミョウガ付き。なかなかないですよ。
カマスが焼けました。炭火は火力が強いね。ジューシーでほかほかに焼き上がっております。クセがなくてこれもたまらないおいしさ。いい店ですね。
さて、麦焼酎です。女性のソムリエの方がいろいろチョイスしてくれました。
黒騎士うまし。麦は後味にキックがあるから食事と合いますね。
つくしはさっきの黒騎士と同じ酒蔵。ちょっと辛め。泡盛りみたい。山猿は水割りでどうぞと書いてあったとおり水割りでスイスイ飲めるお酒。まったくクセなし。
蔵の平太はシェリー酒の樽で熟成された焼酎。香りはブランデーなんだけど味は焼酎というおもしろいお酒。ぜんぜんヘンじゃない。おかしくない。ちゃんと焼酎してるし。
だいたい決まりました。たいへん勉強になった。

ボクも勉強になりました。
「つくし」は白麹仕立てもあります。やまぐちさんが飲んだのは黒麹仕立て。
「銀の水」はおすすめかもしれません。封を開けたときの甘い香りがなんともいえません。
「一粒の麦」は比較的手に入りやすいもので、口当たりの甘さが特徴です。
オレは甘いのが好きなようです。
さらに勉強になりました。
銀の水は手に入らなさそうですね。贈るなんてもったいない！一粒の麦は説明を読むと実にうまそうです。安いし。
泡盛だけど、これからの季節はキリっと瑞泉の古酒ですねぇ。
