この日は(も)酔っぱらい過ぎてもう記憶がなにがなにやら。店名を忘れました。ヘタすると場所も覚えてません。
#追記：2006/01/23 判明しました。
なんか金曜なのでひさびさにガツンと飲みたいなぁと思い立ち(よく考えたら先週も飲んだっけ？もう過去の話ですよ)電話したら野村さんがつかまりました。横浜で待ち合わせです。お互い腹がすいてるし喉もかわいているので一軒目は安くチェーン店ですまそうと思ったら魚系居酒屋の客引きにつかまったよ。
「地鶏 鰻 昇さん (1)」
とりあえず、生、ナマー！
ゴクゴクゴク…ぐはー。さてと。なに食う？おたがい慣れたものでとんとーんと注文していきます。お？
「マンボウの刺身 (800円ぐらいだったような…)」
おぉ、過去何度も耳にしていつか食べてみたいと思っていたマンボウがある！だいぶ細長い切り身です。野村さんは疑心暗鬼の様子。おいしいの？では先にいただきます。ぱく。
サクッ？ナスッ？なんかこう繊維質を噛み切る感じで、でも箸で持った雰囲気はもちもちで。生の鶏のササミをもっと繊細にした感じ。味は淡白でほんのり甘く。なるほど、これは個性的ですねぇ。だいぶうまいといえよう。
けっきょくそこで腰を落ち着けちゃってメインのはずだった魚寅ではおしんこと日本酒を一杯だけ。いやはや。
家に戻ったらドアにエイリアンが！

身が水っぽいので煮たり焼いたりはしないようですよ。

昨日、とうとうマンボウの刺身食べましたよ！
スーパーの中に入っている魚屋さんに並んでいたのを見つけて、即買ってしまいました。
クセと言うか、味はあまりないんですね。
店の人が、酢味噌でも美味しいと教えてくれたので
わさび醤油と酢味噌で試しましたが、やはり酢味噌が美味しくいただけました。
初めての食感で楽しめました。
「から揚げをポン酢で」なんていうのもいいかもね。
今度やってみます。
ほんとにおもしろい食感だよね。
マンボウはフグの仲間だそうでだとクセがないのも納得。そうそうフグの唐揚げはおいしいらしいぞ。食べたことないけど。
